Rocky serves as the Vice President of Finance at Tactical Air Support. Initially founded on the model of the US Navy Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN) and US Air Force’s Weapons School, Tactical Air Support is redefining government contracting as a non-traditional defense company focused on value-based, innovative, and technology-driven products and services for the US Armed Forces.
Prior to 2021, Rocky served as CFO of Tactical Air Support and helped lead a successful multi-million-dollar private equity transaction with Oaktree Capital Management in 2017. He has been with the company since 2012.
Rocky has 25 years of financial and accounting experience including international experience in the United Kingdom, France, Netherlands, Switzerland, and Luxembourg. Prior to joining Tactical Air Support, Rocky served as the CFO for The First Group, Inc. where he led a call center acquisition including debt and working capital financing. Prior to his tenure at The First Group, Inc., Rocky served as the Director of Finance for SITEL Corp., a $1B global service provider with 39k employees. He was responsible for all financial activities for both the Financial and Consumer/Energy Business Units, with combined revenues of $175M annually. He was the 2005 SITEL Employee of the year.
Rocky has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a Finance concentration with a 4.0 GPA, in addition to his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. In addition, he has completed Wharton Executive Education programs in Distressed Asset Investing and Corporate Restructuring (2020) and Becoming a Strategic Partner (2021). He is also a Dale Carnegie course graduate and holds a Private Pilot Certificate.
