Robert Boyer is the Chief Compliance Officer, Export Compliance Official and Facility Security Officer for Tactical Air Support. Initially founded on the model of the US Navy Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN) and US Air Force’s Weapons School, Tactical Air Support is redefining government contracting as a non-traditional defense company focused on value-based, innovative, and technology-driven products and services for the US Armed Forces.
Clete served twenty-nine years as an officer and F/A-18 pilot in the U.S. Navy. He completed eight operational deployments; seven of which were in support of combat operations. Some of his many military assignments and positions include Commander of Carrier Air Wing ONE, Commander of an F/A-18 squadron, and two tours in the Pentagon as Executive Assistant for the Director of the Navy Staff and the Director of Battlespace Awareness on the Navy Staff. Clete has over 4000 total flight hours with over 3000 hours in the F/A-18, and over 1000 carrier landings.
Bob joined Tactical Air in 2015 as a Senior Tactical Systems Analyst and later became the Director of Consulting Services, what is now known as Advanced Concepts and Expert Solutions (ACES). In 2018, he established the Compliance Office which includes Government Regulatory Compliance, Federal Acquisition Regulation and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (FAR/DFARS) Compliance, Proposals Cost Estimating, Cost Coding and Rates, Fraud Prevention, Intellectual Property Protection, Conflict of Interest and Corporate Legal Issues, and International Trade Compliance.
Bob has earned a BS degree in Forestry Engineering from Oregon State University, and a MA in Strategic Studies from the Marine Corps War College and the Naval War College. He is a graduate of the US Navy Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN).
