Technical Publication Development (USN, USMC, USAF, and FMS)
Tactical Air's experienced team of former Test Pilots, Weapons School Instructors and Acquisition Professionals collaborate closely with Warfare Centers and industry partners to create highly relevant technical publications. These manuals enhance warfighters’ tactical knowledge and effectiveness, covering F-35A/B/C, F/A-18C/D/E/F (including Blue Angels), EA-18G, P-8A, and E-2D aircraft, along with their weapons and systems. Aviation Software Training
Aircraft software is constantly evolving, incorporating new features, capabilities, and functionality. The Software Training team provides the latest information directly to warfighters, so that they can be successful in combat. Our team, which includes numerous Strike Fighter Tactics Instructors and test aircrew, thrives in a dynamic and high-performing environment that requires intense collaboration with the test community, tactical centers of excellence, product developers, and industry partners.
The team distills complex material and provides compelling face-to-face briefs and simulator-based instruction, along with guides and study materials. This training portfolio is further incorporated into initial and refresher training to Fleet Replacement Squadrons at NAS Oceana, NAS Lemoore, and NAS Whidbey Island. Tactical Air experts provide continuous, unmatched support, that enhances warfighter readiness and lethality.

Aviation Hardware Training (USN and FMS)
Tactical Air’s team of expert trainers, including former Fighter Weapons School instructors and graduates deliver top tier training similar to operational centers of excellence. We provide up-to-date combat system and mission briefs for strike-fighter and electronic attack platforms, serving aircrew, maintainers, DoD, and industry. Our face-to-face training and lectures enhance warfighters’ skills by deepening their understanding of systems like Link-16, TTNT, Mode 5 IFF, Digital Media Recorders, Next-Gen Jammer, LITENING Pod, JTT-R/Global Lightning, and V/UHF radio applications, SATCOM, SATURN, and Digitally-Aided CAS via VMF. Our training improves system utilization, troubleshooting, and Crew-Vehicle Interface familiarity. Many of our training materials are mandated by Naval Aviation Enterprise leadership for standardized knowledge across flightlines.
Tactical Air offers aviators and technicians thorough training via Crypto University on crypto’s technical, operational, and mission-planning aspects, including a comprehensive operator course, ensuring mission success. No more “We’re down for Crypto.”

Weapons Training (USN, USAF, and FMS)
Tactical Air’s instructors deliver weapons-school-caliber training in support of pre-deployment training, scheduled aircraft hardware upgrades, emerging weapon systems, and weapon system software updates. Additionally, we facilitate initial fleet introductory training for the Navy’s latest family of Network Enabled Weapons, providing training and technical support both ashore and afloat. Operational Test Support
Tactical Air Support offers unique expertise in developing fighter aviation tactics and supporting operational evaluations for DoD customers. Our team provides subject matter expertise, consultation, and on-site participation for requirements development, operational testing, and test events. We design experiments to collect data and recommend future tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
